The clock is running. Early bird pricing for reSURGEnce Durban 2026 closes on 15 October, and after that every travel package returns to full price. With the conference taking place from 24 to 27 October at the Inkosi Albert Luthuli International Convention Centre (ICC) in Durban, this is the last chance to lock in savings of up to 15%.
If you have been meaning to book but haven’t decided which package suits you, this guide is for you. We’ll walk through each option, who it is designed for, and the questions that will help you choose in a few minutes rather than a few days.

Diamond: the all-in-one option
The Diamond Package is built for delegates who want everything handled. It is the only package that includes your airfare, and it comes with six nights of premium accommodation, ground transportation and sightseeing trips.
Choose Diamond if:
- You are travelling from the United States, the Caribbean or elsewhere in the Diaspora and haven’t booked flights yet.
- You want one booking, one price and no logistics to manage.
- You plan to make the most of the full programme, including the investment site visits and the Mayoral Reception.
At $4,350, the early bird saving is $750, the biggest discount of any package. For many international delegates, that saving alone covers a good part of their spending money for the week.
Gold: comfort without the flight
The Gold Package suits delegates who have already sorted their flights or prefer to book their own, perhaps using air miles or a preferred airline. You get 4-star accommodation, shuttle services and sightseeing trips.
Choose Gold if:
- You have flights covered and want a comfortable base close to the action.
- You are bringing a business partner or colleague and want a professional setting to host meetings.
- You value convenience but want control over your travel dates.
The early bird price of $1,995 saves you $335.
Silver: the smart-budget choice
The Silver Package keeps costs down while still giving you accommodation, ground transportation and sightseeing. It includes 3-star accommodation and is a strong choice for entrepreneurs who want to be in the room without stretching their budget.
Choose Silver if:
- You are a founder or small business owner putting every rand or dollar to work.
- You are travelling from elsewhere in South Africa or the continent and can book your own transport to Durban.
- You plan to spend most of your time at the ICC and on site visits rather than at your hotel.
At $1,450, you save $250 by booking before 15 October.
Local Delegates: free, and not to be missed
If you live and run a business in or around Durban, the Local Delegates option is free. It gives you conference access and refreshments. There is no travel or accommodation included because you don’t need it.
This is how reSURGEnce lives out its 2026 theme, Decreasing Barriers by Increasing Access. Cost should not be the reason a local entrepreneur misses the chance to meet investors, government stakeholders and international buyers. Registration is still required, so sign up early to secure your place.
Four questions to help you decide
- Have you booked your flights? If not, and you are travelling internationally, Diamond removes the biggest variable.
- What is your budget ceiling? Work backwards from what you can spend, including meals and spending money, and pick the package that leaves you room to network.
- How will you use the week? If you are coming to pitch, exhibit or close deals, the comfort and location of your accommodation matters more.
- Are you local? If you are based in Durban, start with the free Local Delegates registration.
What you are booking into
Whichever package you choose, you are joining four days built around access: access to capital, global markets, government and corporate opportunities, and real estate and development projects. The published programme includes:
- Explore Durban: KZN Site Visits and Investment Opportunities, a guided look at KwaZulu-Natal’s key projects seeking investment partners.
- The Mayoral Reception, an evening of high-level networking.
- Economic Revival and Pan-African Dialogue, combining praise and worship with a conversation on Africa’s path to economic renewal.
- reSURGEnce Durban Exhibitions and conference sessions, with full days of talks, dialogue and business exhibitions at the ICC.
The conference covers ten focus areas, from capital access and digital infrastructure to agro-processing, the creative economy, real estate and intergenerational wealth.
Good to know before you book
- All sales are final and non-refundable, so check your dates before you pay.
- US citizens don’t need a visa for business or tourist visits to South Africa of up to 90 days. Your passport must be valid for at least 30 days beyond your departure date.
- Durban in late October is mild, with daytime highs around 23°C (74°F). Pack light, breathable clothing, sunscreen and comfortable walking shoes.
- The local currency is the South African rand (ZAR). Major credit cards are widely accepted.
Don’t leave savings on the table
Early bird pricing ends on 15 October. After that, the same package costs up to $750 more. If you already know you want to be in Durban, there is no advantage to waiting.
